My philosophy of sharing on the internet is this: I try not to be another angsty negative voice being thrown at you. I try not to talk about my personal problems or anything sad or angrifying. I’d rather share my art, the nice things about my day, and ask fun or thought provoking questions that allow us to engage in an exchange that serves as a respite for both of us. I’d rather do this then drag us down into further negativity or worse yet, reality. BUT I’ve slipped up lately - there are Real Life things that haven taken their toll on me a bit. If they made an emoticon for stabby I’d be using it a lot these past few days. That’s neither here nor there… Point is - if I keep it up I’ll have to change my profile pic to Sad Emo Cat and I’d rather not. So today is a new day, happiness is a choice, and my friends….we’ve got art to make!

Dear angsty internet friends, You do not have a monopoly on depth. While your posts about the existential dilemma, and your soul’s decline in presence of an apathetic world might get you a lot of sympathetic “likes” and pseudo intellectual responses - my post about my love of zombie bunny slippers, enjoying a handful of chocolate chips with my afternoon tea, or the latest Star Wars Steampunk mash-up I found on Pinterest is as entitled to air time as your whinging. I could go ahead and post about the crap lot of shit that’s going on in my life and whatthefuckdoesitallmatteranyway. But I assume that you’ve got a shit lot of crap going on in your life as well. So rather then us both wallowing, I figure I’ll share LOLcats with you instead. There, that’s better.
